Triathlon Have you found your triathlon results from previous races? Have you found a way to interpret them so you can get faster? Then continue reading. The coaches at the Rock Star Triathlete Academy, identified five elements to analyzing your triathlon race results. 1. Find Your Results. Obviously, you can visit the triathlon results page of the race in which you have .peted, but sites like Athlinks.., Trifind.. and Triresults.. allow you to not only search triathlon results for your splits, your .petitors, your races and events, but also to .pare races and find accurate data from previous year’s races. 2. Look at your Splits. Your results are not just about your total race time. Looking at your swim, bike and runs splits can tell you a lot. Look to see how they .pare. .pare you times and results on different courses such as hills VS flats, Ocean VS lake, paved road VS trails. Look at you average 100M pace on the swim your per mile pace for the run and average speed for the bike. The purpose for this is to help you focus on fitness areas where you are week. For example you are week on hilly courses means you need to do more hill repeats. 3. Examine Your Data. Do you have a power meter or heart rate monitor? Look at your triathlon results for consistency in watts and beats per minute, identify unnecessary spikes in intensity, .pare better race results to see what you did with your heart rate and power profiles, take into consideration the effect of evironmental variables such as heat, road conditions or topography. 4.
